Methodology

We maintain a national directory of 563 stroller and baby gear stores compiled from public business listings. For every US city over 50,000 people (US Census 2024 estimates) with at least 3 stores, we computed stores per 100,000 residents and the median Google rating of the city's stores, then multiplied the two into a composite score — so a city needs both plenty of stores and good ones to rank. City limits are taken literally: suburbs count as their own cities. Data refreshes with our quarterly re-crawl; last updated August 2026.
