Once Upon a Child Brighton

Such a wonderful consignment shop for babies and kids! They also carry maternity clothes. I have to say that the staff are some on the kindest people I have met in a retail setting. They actually care and like their jobs.

I sold stuff to them. I thought the staff was very friendly and nice. I thought the money they offered for my items was fair. I was not looking for a high pay out. When you sell or consign items you are not going to usually get more than 30% of the retail amount back. If you get 10 to 20% back I think it is a win.

I drive to this one instead of the nearer Ann Arbor store because it's so much better all around. They greet you when you enter, the prices are so much more reasonable, and I have never waited more than 5 minutes to check out (in Ann Arbor, I've regularly waited 20 to even 45 minutes, even when there are less than 5…

I have been coming to once upon a child for a while now, with how fast kids grow it just makes sense to shop second hand. The clothes I buy from there do actually look practically new so no one could ever really tell. Most of the time I find the prices to be very reasonable.
