Once Upon a Child- Elgin, IL

Pretty solid selection. Been to a few locations and this one is run with higher standards. Have had pretty good experiences selling clothes. Quick turn around and I usually make out reasonably. I keep my expectations low. I’m able to use that money towards buying my kids next sizes up using the store credit option.

I personally think this is the best OUAC location. I enjoy shopping and selling there. Yes there is a 1-2 week wait for selling, but they explain that when you drop off your hard-covered bin (this was explained by a staff member via phone).

The store is really organized! They have EVERYTHING from books, to toys, clothing of any size and gender (of course), bassinets, baby swings, ect. They ladies are really friendly and they are only offering store credit at the moment if you want to sell them any gently used clothes!

Once Upon a Child has a decent selection, though the prices could be a bit lower for used clothes. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help, even getting larger items down from shelves for a closer look. Overall, I enjoyed my visit and look forward to coming back!
