Once Upon A Child | Elk Grove

Absolutely delighted with Once Upon a Child in Elk Grove, CA! Their wide selection of gently used children's items is a parent's dream. The staff is incredibly helpful, and prices are unbeatable. Shopping, there was a breeze, and I left with bags full of great finds for my kids. Highly recommend this gem!

I’ve sold and bought clothes at this location I want to say 3 times now. The first time was great! Staff bought a ton of items off of me and I was able to buy more from the store. The second time they told me they were too booked and to come back the next day, bummer.

I was offered $18 for 17 items (most were sweaters for ages 10-12). I declined the offer and asked for my information back since they have you fill out a form with name, address, and license number. They said they couldn’t return it due to policy. I left.

We always shop for shoes, pants, jackets and pajamas here. We saw some cute Halloween costumes but none in our daughters’ size.
